Welcome to BelvaDavis.com! This weblog not only keeps up to date with all of my current projects, but also serves as a partial archive of my past experiences in the world of journalism. If you’d like to see some of my past television interviews and documentaries, navigate to the “Television” page. To listen to broadcast interviews, go to the “Radio” page. You can find excerpts from my upcoming book on the “Author” page. To contact me directly, use the email address provided on the “Contact Belva” page. Don’t forget to check out my “Photo Gallery” as well as some of my favorite links in the pink section below. The “Suggested Links” section lists the organizations with which I am most involved. And keep up with the latest news from a diverse point of view on the New America Media newsfeed.
This is a work in progress, so keep checking in! Please feel free to comment on any of my posts or pages. I welcome discussion and new ideas, which is why I chose a blog over a traditional website. I intend for this to be an interactive journalistic medium, and I welcome your input!

Dear Belva,
Wow- I’ve witnessed your transition from film, to tape, to satellite, and now the new frontier of the internet!!! I feel tremendously blessed to call you a mentor, role model and more importantly a friend.
I love the set up of your webpage. It’s easy to navigate your way around and you have lots of content without it looking too busy. High Fives to the SF Links Webpage too!! I really enjoyed your photo gallery. My only suggestion would be- check to see if you can make that a slide show so people can just sit and enjoy the photos.
I have you bookmarked as a favorite. Keep on keepin on…. you continue to pave the way for all of us!!
Much love always,
Alice
I just read about what happened to you in Washington, D.C.; I feel your pain. We were unable to reach our ticketed area, although we were in the standing blue area. We waited almost 5 hours, and with the shoving and pushing it became clear to us that it was a disaster waiting to happen. We went around to the front and were able to at least see the building, even though everything was just a speck in the distance. My heart goes out to you though, as you had wonderful seats and I can only imagine how disappointed you were. My only consolation is that I was able to share the joy with the people standing around, it was amazing how many families came to witness this wonderful event in history.
Well said.
